Ready for a rewarding career in real estate? Every state requires different information and education to obtain your license. Alabama does not require any college credits to obtain your license, unlike most other states and their requirements are pretty straight forward.
Below you will find all of the information required to receive your State of Alabama real estate license.
Basic Licensing Requirements:
- Applicants must be 19 years of age or older
- Must be a legal U.S. citizen
- Must have successfully complete High School or equivalent
Educational and Other Requirements:
- Real estate license must not have been rejected or revoked in any state within two years prior to date of application on any grounds other than failure to pass a written examination.
- Applicant must have proof that he or she has completed a course in real estate approved by the commission, which shall be a minimum of 60 clock hours.
- Applicant must pay all applicable licensing fees.
